TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please carefully read these terms & conditions as by ordering from us means you have read and accept them. These terms & conditions are governed by UK Law.
ORDERING: At least 12 weeks notice is required prior to the date your stationery is required, please contact us before placing an order if your requirement date is less than 12 weeks. We recommend that you place you order as soon as possible to ensure we can fulfil it. When placing an order you are making an offer to purchase our products, we reserve the right to accept or decline that offer. All orders are subject to material availability. If we experience any problems with materials you will be informed and where appropriate a similar item of the same quality will be offered. Please note we only supply and post to customers in the UK.
SAMPLES: Samples are made to order and we aim to despatch within 15 working days. The price of up to 3 samples purchased can be redeemed if you place a subsequent order over £50.
PAYMENT: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is payable at the time the order is placed (unless order is for a sample or is placed less than 6 weeks before required date, then full payment is required). The final balance will be invoiced within 28 days prior to final delivery and should be settled within 7 days to avoid any delay in your order being despatched.
PRICING: We reserve the right to amend any of the prices at any time, however prices confirmed at the time of booking will not be affected.
PROOFS: Please ensure that your insert information is correct when you supply it to us and supplied at least 28 days prior to your required date. A set of proofs will be sent to you and it is your responsibility to thoroughly check them, as we cannot be held responsible for any mistakes that are discovered afterwards. If you are happy with the proofs you must return them signed and dated. If any amendments are required to the proofs you must provide details of the changes required. We will then make the necessary changes and send you another set of proofs for you to approve. We will provide you with two free proofs, but any subsequent amendments requested will be charged for.
Further work will not commence on your order until the approved proofs have been returned to us, therefore we advise you to return them as soon as possible to avoid any delays in your order. If any amendments are required after the signed proofs have been returned, additional charges may be incurred and there may be a delay in your delivery. Any errors on the part of Occasions of Love will be rectified at our cost.
RETURNS: In the event of a complaint you must notify us in writing within 7 days of receiving your order. Refunds or replacements will only be given where the product is found to be faulty or the specifications of the order have not been met. Work on replacement stationery will not commence until all items in question have been returned to us. (Postage will only be reimbursed where the fault lies with Occasions of Love). Missing or damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours. Your consumer statutory rights are not affected.
CANCELLATIONS: In the event of a cancellation Occasions of Love have the right to retain the deposit and to recover from you any additional costs we have incurred. All goods remain the property of Occasions of Love until payment is made in full.
DELIVERY: As your order is special we send all items (excluding samples) via a tracked method, which requires a signature upon receipt. It may be necessary to split your order depending upon the items ordered as you may require some items before the rest of the order details have been finalised. Delivery times are dependant on the size of your order and our current workload. Delivery prices are calculated individually for each order according to the value, total weight and number of deliveries required. Once we have received your order we will confirm the total delivery cost for your order prior to order acceptance. In the event that the first delivery attempt fails then it is your responsibility to contact the courier to rearrange delivery or to collect, failure to do so within 7 days will result in the parcel being returned to us. In the event that this happens, additional postage costs will be incurred by you for us to resend.
HANDMADE NATURE: As our products are individually handmade, slight variations may exist. All sizes are approximate and should be taken as a guide.
SAFETY: Due to the small parts used in our stationery designs and the nature of our wedding favours, our products are not suitable for young children.
ALLERGIES: Our edible favour fillings contain nuts or may contain traces of nuts, and this warning will be displayed on all edible favours where known. It is your responsibility to review the ingredients and decide whether they are suitable for your guests. Please note that all our favours are unsuitable for young children. Occasions of Love cannot be held responsible for any adverse effects caused due to allergies.
ORDER OF SERVICE: It is your responsibility to obtain any necessary permission from any copyright owners prior to us printing your Order of Service. If any fees are due for this permission you must pay this direct to the copyright holder.
